Hello, I recently bought a gpu and the product says i need a 350 watt psu or higher.
Is it fine to still use the gpu because i'm using a 300 watt psu.
What will happen? I'd like to know urgently.

Try it and see, your system is pretty low spec power consumption wise, so should be OK.

Plus i got two hard drives, and two dvd writers, and when i play games the psu heat output seems higher than normal.

You have a mid 2GHz C2D with a 9500GT. That is low end equipment. Neither of which takes a lot of electricity. Does your 9500Gt even use a 6pin plug? I don't think they do. I bet you full system draw is probably around 150-175W, well within what your PSU can (probably) output.
