Booting from either partition of Harddisk

I formatted my computer with windows 7, now I formatted the second partition with windows XP unlimited 2007, but on start up, it boots straight with Windows XP. how can I have the option of booting from my Windows 7 on the first hard disk and my Windows XP on the second partition?

You have installed the OS' in the wrong order.

Install XP first and then Win7 last to get the proper boot options.

When you boot does it show both OS?

Right click My Computer/Properties/Advanced/system startup.../ and look at the default operating system. Choose the one you want.
