Can I use DDR2 pc 5300 memory in my HP NC6220 that call for DDR2 PC4200? pc 4200

It should work fine but will run at the lower speed. PC 5300 is DDR2 667 and PC 4200 is DDR2 533. The memory will probably work but at the slower speed of 533Mhz.
