Advice on replacing motherboard

Please forgive me for asking others for advice. I know I can just look up the information myself but I'm so mentally exhausted from looking up BIOS, flashing, boot, iso/img, Motherboard, and CPU information for the past 2 weeks. I'm flashing my BIOS and just in case the flash goes wrong and the 3 backup disks fail (Murphy's law) then I would like to know of a good replacement.

Approximate Purchase Date: Within a month would be great.
Budget Range: No more than $250 (Preferably as low as possible)

Parts Required: Just motherboard or possibly motherboard/cpu combo if cheaper.
Country: USA
Overclocking/SLI/Crossfire: No
Monitor Resolution: 1024x768x32
(no website or parts preference although motherboard should support at least 1 SATA drive)
