Hello all, I recently decided to upgrade my memory to 8 GB's(originally have 4.) Slots 1 and 3 are Channel 0. And slots 2 and 4 are channel 1. Now channel 1 works fine. But channel 2 doesn't work at all(no post only a single long beep.) All ram is exactly the same. So basically when I only have 2 ram in it works fine, but when I add another 2 to the second chanell is won't post or anything.

My ram is G.Skill DDR3-1600 F3-12800CL9D-4GBNQ - 1.5v(tried to put it to 1.65 and see if it works but no luck)
My motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H.

Thanks in advance for the help

Are you using 2 (2x2)4GB kits or did you get a new (4x2)8GB kit? If you used the old and new kit together then that may be the problem. RAM kits tend to not play well together even when they are seemingly identical. This is why mix-matching RAM kits is not a recommended solution.
