Sudden FPS Drop

I came back from a long vaca and thought my comp deserved a nice cleaning. So I took the HD's, sound card, graphics card, and cpu heatsink out and dusted them all off with canned air. Now after putting everything back in, when ever I run a video program (whether it be that very popular site to watch videos, or WoW, there will be these fps drops. I mean I'll have 60fps then it will drop down to 3 fps just for a moment, then peak back up. Mind you, this was not occurring before the cleaning. Any idea of what could be causing this? Oh system specs: Intel P4 3.0ghz @800mhz, nVidia 9800gtx+ 1GB video memory, 4x1gb Crucial Ballistix RAM @800mhz, Seagate 1tb HD and western digital 500gb hd, Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit

have you check your temps? maybe you can try reinstalling the vga driver and see if it fix the problem
