5830 w/ 5770 in CF?

Hey everyone,
Quick question. I already have a 5830, and was thinking of upgrading for xmas. There are some good deals lately for 5770's, and I was thinking of buying one for CF. I know the 5770 is slightly worse, but would it should still improve performance overall right? The 256bit vs 128bit wouldn't bottleneck everything down to 128bit would it? I've got two 1080p monitors and just wanted to make sure that if I get a third one eventually, my system can handle eyefinity. Thanks for your input

My system:
i5-750 @ 3.95ghz
8gb 1600mhz cas7
radeon 5830 @ 900mhz

i don't think you can CF 58xx series with 57xx series. for 58xx series you will need another card in 58xx series such as 5850 or 5870. but do correct me if i'm wrong with this one ;)

I don't know all that much about this stuff (hence my question lol), but from what I've read it just needs to be 5xxx series. I mean I understand why you'd say save for a 5830, but the difference between the two is almost $100 right now!

i think it needs to be like 57xx or 58xx etc. to be able to crossfire with eachother.

just so you know if you get a 5850 or 5870 with a 5830 in CF the setup will on perform as a 5830 CF system.
