I was looking through RAM when I became confused on whether it is better to have more memory or faster.
For example, would this
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233198
be better than this?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233170

also within the the same memory, do the speed make a lot of difference? because for example,
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233198
this has 16 gb but way cheaper than
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233228

and is it better to fill all four slots on the mobo? ppl said to get two if it says dual channel and im getting this mobo
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131792
and it says that it has 4 x 240 slots...

which one should i get?
1.http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233198
2.http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233231
3.http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233170

help and thanks!

Generally, the reason you want faster RAM is to allow headroom for overclocking. There is little real world benefit (i.e. increased frame rates) from going with faster RAM.

My advice is get DDR3 1600mhz with normalish latency like 9-9-9-24 unless you're going for a really big overclock.

Get 8GB unless you have some reason to need 16GB.
