I have no idea what cards are available where you live and how much they cost. You'll have to list them and have us chose, or wait for someone who lives in India and can tell you. 4GBs of ram is better then two, but not if its going to cost you from getting a good video card.

I think NVIDIA and ATI cards will be equally good for your PC.

What PSU are you using?

Of the cards you listed assuming that 5570 has DDR3 ram it would be the fastest. If it doesn't, then one of the 4670s with DDR3 ram would be next fastest. I'm surprised you didn't list more Nvidia cards. Those are rather old while your listing recent AMD cards. Take a look at that 5570 and make sure it matches the official specs.

The PSU is important as well. But the 5570 and 4670 don't need a PCIe plug so they are easy on the PSU.

Yes, ATI is a part of AMD now. However, ATI was a company of its own before AMD purchased it in 2006. There is absolutely NO benefit of having a ATI card with an AMD processor.

ATI readon HD 4670 1 gb
ATI readon HD 4670 512 mb
ATI readon HD 2600pro
ATI readon HD 2600 XT
ATI readon HD5450
ATI readon HD5570
NVIDIA geforce 8600 GT
NVIDIA geforce 7600 GT
NVIDIA geforce 9500GT

Are these cards the only ones you can get? Because there are much better cards made.
Anyway, the best card of these is ATI RADEON HD 5570. It comes with DDR3 and DD5 memory. DDR5 is better.
It's not best because it's ATI, it is just more powerful than other on that list. Could you name some NVIDIA cards available for you?

First you ask us if thats the case, and now you tell us? As Tigrc said it doesn't matter. There is no extra speed to get from an ATI/AMD card just because its being paired with an AMD CPU. If anything it would run faster in an Intel setup because their CPUs tend to be faster.

First of all HD5570 isn't much of a card and would be pooped to drive your monitor at that resolution. For that resolution, you need a minimum of 9800GT above card to at least make decent frame rates. And in 3000 INR there is very little hope of getting a good gaming card. Bare minimum should be GTS250 which is 6500 INR now i think and very hard to find.

Which city do you live in?

You can find out the resolution by reading your motherboard manual.

the mistake you made with your rig is that you spent too much amount on a quad core phenom. If you could just have bought a dual core processor and spent the rest of the money for a good video card like gts 450,9800gt it would have played games much better as mostly all games are gpu bound.your phenom is not going to help you much because your video card will be a serious bottle neck as your phenom will process frames too fast for your graphic card to handle.see if you can return the cpu and buy a dual core and a good card

dx11 is useless on such cards because they are weaklings and can't handle dx 11 anyway. You need a gts 450 as a bare minimum if you are going to be playing in dx11

@mahes if your budget is till 4500 INR don't buy ati because their low end cards are seriously weak.go for nvidia. It will give you a little more power

I just wanted to tell you that before you bought your processor you should have investigated on the forums then you would have understood that the cpu does not count much in gaming. It is the graphic card that matters. Now you have built a compputer which has a powerful processor but a weak graphic card.It would have been better if you could have bought a dual core amd athlon and a gts 250 with the rest of the cash.Within you butdget I am afraid the only card is the gt220 which will run the above listed games at minimum-medium settings. In other words you can run your games at an image quality slightly better than ps2-ps3 games.

This reminds me of the OP, you need to either get a bigger budget, or be happy without the max settings on every game ;)  you can't have everything.
