M11x i7 8gb bottleneck

I'm going to be purchasing the m11x w/i7 640um 1.2 ghz overclocks to 2.2 I think.
I'm just curious if I should go with 4gb or 8gb of ram.
Will the cpu bottleneck 8gb, I've heard yea's and nea's on both sides.

The ram usually doesn't bottleneck a cpu but if you have the choice of 4gb of fast ram vs 8gb of slow ram, get the fast ram. 4Gb is enough for most games.

Recommendations to all laptop buyers:

1. create recovery DVDs as soon you get hold of your laptop. That way you can always restore to original factory settings if hard drive fails.

2. If AC adapter is plugged ALL the time, remove the battery and store in dry place. Charging the battery all the time will shorten its lifetime. Trust me. Happened to me.

Well what I'm talking about is the cpu going to bottleneck the ram?
8gb seems like a hell of a lot of memory for a 1.2 ghz 640 ultra mobile processor.....

I'm thinking alienware is just throwing xtra ram in for the purpose of markup.....
