Cpu upgrade and mobo upgrade

I bought an amd Athlon II X4 640 and some other usual stuff to go with it and i want to upgrade just the mobo and cpu to the SB i7 2600 and add this Asus P8H67-V
my specs are:
cpu:amd Athlon II X4 640
Mobo:GIGABYTE GA-M68MT-D3 AM3 NVIDIA GeForce 7025/nForce 630a chipset Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
Harddrive:Western Digital Caviar Green WD5000AADS 500GB 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Hard Drive
Ram:Kingston HyperX 2GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3
psu: OCZ ModXStream Pro OCZ600MXSP 600W ATX12V
optical drive:SONY Black 18X DVD-ROM 48X CD-ROM SATA DVD-ROM

I just want to upgrade my rig to a SB rig.And the parts are barely 3months old.Can i just upgrade it or are would there be problems?I also want to buy the lian li pc-777 chassis.

Just asking would there be compatibility problems or any problems whatsoever or can i just plug and play?
All parts will be used in my new rig except mobo, cpu and chassis.

I have always been an AMD fanboy.Its just that I am upset cause BD hasnt come out.Please dont change the topix..Help me out!

just one question.If i want to use the harddrive can i just plug the harddrive onto my new system or must i first delete the contents of the system?
