These are some of the parts I was looking at:

CPU - Core i5 2400 LGA 1155 Boxed Processor $149.99 from Microcenter.

Motherboard - ASRock P67 PRO3 LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard $123.99 from Newegg.
and ASUS P8P67 LE LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard $139.99 from Newegg.

RAM - G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL7D-4GBXM $69.99 from Newegg. Not sure if theres anything better or if this is cost too much.

HDD - SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive -Bare Drive $69.99 from Newegg. $15 rebate also.

Case - COOLER MASTER HAF 922 RC-922M-KKN1-GP Black Steel + Plastic and Mesh Bezel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case $99.99 at Newegg or Microcenter. Looking at the case because I really like the fans you can put in and airflow, also the cable managment.

OS - Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 1-Pack for System Builders - OEM $89.99 from Newegg with promo code.

Additional Comments: Need help choosing the PSU. I will also be buying a GTX 460 in a couple of weeks, and for the moment will be using a GTX 260 Core 216. For the PSU I would like a modular, to help out with cable management. I will also be getting a new monitor in a month, but for the moment I have an HP 2009m at 1600x900. Won't be getting an ssd anytime soon.

Mobo -
MSI P67A-C45
$15 off with promo code HARDOCP112A, ends 1/15
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130545

RAM - IMO even this would suffice
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231277
So maybe you can get the i5 2500 with the money saved here,...

PSU - Cheaper but a very good modular PSU - OCZ Fatality 550W
http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml?product_id=0337642

GPU - Dont get the 460, by this month-end, Nvidia will probably launch the GTX 560 for ~$230-$250, that would be a better buy,...

Also for the case, check out the HAF 912, for a single card config this will provide enough airflow and is similar to the 922,...

I agree with MDD. get the 2500K

The price difference of a 912 vs 922 will cover the difference.

a 6850 would be my choice of GPU. similar performncew to the 460, but needs only 1 6-pin power cnnector.

I'd suggest a SeaSonic S12II 520W PSU at $59.99. It'll handle 2 6850s in crosssfire

I think I'll go with the 2500k because in case I ever want to sell it it will be an extra, and the motherboard is sli capable. Also decided to get the HAF 912 to stay on budget. I was wondering about this combo though the HAF 912 and this COOLER MASTER GX Series RS750-ACAAE3-US 750W ATX12V v2.31 SLI Ready 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply . Also now that I'm getting this new motherboard will probably sli in the future, not sure how much power I'll need (Will be adding another 1TB later on, and most like maxing out the fans). I'm willing to waste about $200 on a video card in a couple of weeks, so which ever card is in that price range would be good. I prefer Nvidia as it has CUDA support, but if there is an ATI at a good price thats ok too. Going to buy this in a couple of hours or tomorrow morning and if you know of any promo codes that would help let me know. If there are any more opinions comments feel free.

Thanks for the advice, wasn't sure if the combo was any good. Won't be overclocking so will switch to the G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB. I would rather buy all from one place, even though I could use the extra $20.

New total $829.48

Well if a new card will be coming out for the same price I guess I could wait, the 260 will have to do for now. Ordered the parts and they should be coming tomorrow or Monday.
