Do i have GTX 260 or GTX 260 216 Core

but how can gpu-z tell the diffrence does it actually detect it from your graphics cards bios or doesnt it just try to guess.

Your card reports back an identifier code that indicates what its specs are, it gets the clock speed through a different reading but all of the other ones are static and dont change so once you know the device ID you can match it up to a table and get all the specs, it doesnt just take a guess at it.

Both GPU-Z and Everest Ultimate both say 216 cores so does that mean i really have 216 cores? But speccy says its 192

Reviewers say this card is Core 216 Also I found this spec chart on a website look at it so should i be sure that this is core 216
