UPgrading vid card

I am looking to upgrade my vid card to either a ATI 5770 or a gts450.
My question is will these pci 2.0 cards work with my ASUS A8N32-SLI DELUXE motherboard and XP OS?

yes, they're backwards compatible. The 5770 is a little faster if I'm not mistaken.

Will running xp(32) instead of a newer OS be a problem?
I'm disabled and on a tight budget so changing OS or mb is out of the question

As he said before either will work fine with the HD 5770 being a bit faster. 32bit XP will only limit system memory to a little over 3 GB it should not slow down your graphics card. You need a 64bit OS for more than about 3.25GB of memory.
