Hello everyone! So i just got 2xKingston KHX1600C9D3B1/4G and i was wondering will it be okay to use it on 1600. At the moment im with 4x4GB - 2x4GB A-Data (1333) and the RAM above. Everything is working on 1333. So will it be better to remove the A-Data and use only the Kingston mem.
My Mobo: AsRock 870 Extreme3 - which says that it supports 1600 - but it doesnt detect it i have to set it manually to 1600 (only with the kingston mem) default mobo mem voltage 1.64. My CPU: Athlon II x4 640 Propus - 2Mb Cache.
So is it going to work good on 1600 on this mobo/cpu?
More aboutadvice 1600mhz
yes, of course they should be fine.
Thanks for the reply. My concern was mostly about the cpu. Because in amd.com it says 1333 support.
