Is installing both windows 7 & xp make problem?

if you mean about the boot loader, you should install xp first then win7 to minimize the hassle.
You can install win xp after win7 but then win xp will overwrite win7 boot without reconfigure dual boot, so you have to repair the boot loader using win7 disc.

If you have enough room on your HDD of course you can install both of them.

I think it's more of a hassle trying to get back to a single OS.
