Beeps

Hello,
I get 1 long beep and 2 short beeps when I switch on. Nothing gets loaded. I've just tried to increase the RAM on my Gigabyte GA 7VT600-1394 board from 3 x 500Mb to 3 x 1Gb sticks. Anyone know what this means?

1 Long and 2 Short beeps means a faulty VGA/GPU Connection.
Try to remove the GPU is you have one inserted and reseat it properly. If you're using an AGP card.
If you're using the Onboard Video, then get into the BIOS and reset it to defaults.
If that doesn't work, try to clear the CMOS by removing the CMOS Battery and then give it a boot and check.
