^ Mainly because it is cheap and I especially recommend 2x 4GB kits because it allows for future upgrades if any as there will be 2 RAM slots free,...
But if the main usage of the build is going to be gaming, then 4GB would suffice if the OP wants to cut cost,...

You have a point there, DDR3 prices did go down by a lot and, 8gb is more future proof and, better for multitasking.

Cheapest high quality 850w 80plus silver psu you can find on the egg, it might look ugly but who cares? you will be looking at the monitor not the back/inside of your pc ;) .

Yes if you look around you should find a couple items at the same kind of price at Tiger. As with most sites they tend to have a couple items cheaper than each other whilst others are wildly more expensive, just need the patience to search
