This ASRock mobo has the Nvidia chip that gets you 16 X 16 PCI in SLI or Xfire, is $270 and a Tom's Enthusiast Class Award winner.

One of those Asus republic of gamers motherboards, rampage what number are they on? like rampage IV or something? I'm a fan of gigabyte which makes excellent sub- $200 motherboards, but if you only got 2500K there's really no need....

Who need PCI-E 3.0 when your not even ganna upgrade your CPU and GPU(About $700 US Dollar upgrade) at same time?... Wait till(If you got PCI-E 2.0) 2014 for PCI-E 4.0 which is 2x(double) the bandwidth of PCI-E 3.0
Best if you get a GigaByte Assassin G1 Killer for now around $300 and upgrade in future at around 2014/2015...

Or you can get the Asus Maximus IV Extreme (P67) or The Asus Maximus IV ExtremeZ (Z68). Both are close to 300 bucks and offer exceptional overclocking features and stability.
