Don't bother with the unlocked version. The unlocked multiplier only really works with the H67 chipset, which restricts you on the other aspects of overclocking. Just get the regular version.

I'd drop the board down to the Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD4. It's cheaper, and you don't lose anything useful.

I do hope you've considered that if you have an OEM copy of an OS, you'll need a new copy with the new board. That'll add $100 to the cost. If you do need the OS, my changes have already saved $75, and if you drop the RAM to G.Skill's Ripjaws (the CAS Latency 7 version), you'll save another $15, keeping everything you need in budget, or at least close enough.

yea i have a legit copy of win 7 ultimate x86 and a copy of of the 64 bit also and my key works for either one since i have a technet account i get 10 keys anyways and the Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD4 is the same price as the ASUS P8P67 PRO on newegg well it has a 5$ instant savings on it as for the ram ill look into that also
