Do I have the PSU capacity for this?

Hey folks,

I've got the following components so far for a new build:

Antec 902V3 (with 3 120mm LED fans and a 200mm LED fan)
Asus p8p67 pro mobo
2 HDD's
1 SSD
a 2500k that I'm planning to push to about 4.2ghz
8gb G.Skill ram

And I'm running on a Corsair 750tx V2.

Obviously the system has a few peripherals, but nothing that draws significant power.

So the big question is, do you guys think I have enough juice to run two MSI 6950 Twin Frozr II OC 2GB cards in Crossfire? Guru3d has the MSI pulling /less/ power (154W under load) than a reference 6950 (158W under load), which I find hard to believe, and I can't find anything about their power draw in CF. In other words, I can't find good power consumption benchmarks to work with.

Sounds great, and even a little overhead so I dont' sound like I'm at the airport when I'm under load. I should note that I'm also using a CM 212+ on the cpu, not that it'd change the draw that much.

The 750 will do either the 6970, 6950 or 560 Ti. Since your looking at Guru3D you can see how the OC'd MSI 6950 fits in with the other cards (at 1920 x 1200). Numbers in parentheses are total fps in their game suite (single card / SLI or CF) and the other numbers are dollars per frame (single card / CF or SLI)

6850 (371/634) $0.42 - $0.49
6950 (479/751) $0.51 - $0.65
6950 Frozr OC (484/759) $0.59 - $0.75
560 Ti (455/792) $0.53 - $0.61
6970 (526/825) $0.64 - $0.81
560 Ti - 900 Mhz (495/862) $0.43 - $0.50
570 (524/873) $0.64 - $0.77
580 (616/953) $0.81 - $1.05
6990 (762/903) $0.95 - $1.61
590 (881/982) $0.79 - $1.43

To my thinking, I like the OC'd 560 Ti's at 1920 x 1200 and the OC'd 6950's at 2560 x 1600.

Heres one with a 4Ghz 2600K:

^Well obviously, the MSI "OC" is merely a 20mhz boost but you pay for the great cooler. The 6950 2GB has lower power draw, better CF scaling and better performance as higher resolutions. His choice though.

Thanks for the contributions, guys. I'm looking at gaming on 1920x1080 and occasionally using a secondary 1440x900 display when not gaming. I don't have nearly enough cash for a 25x16 job. At the moment, I'm actually beginning to lean towards 560s.

Timop - that graph's comparing 570's and 6950's, I was thinking about 560s. I can't find anything on toms for their power consumption, only guru3d, and I'd like multiple sources.

TPU has single net consumption charts here: http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Powercolor/HD_6870_PCS_Plus_Plus/21.html
You can multiply that buy 2, add your CPU's TDP and an extra 50W for everything else for the worst case senario. In all terms the 750v2 would be fine.
