Would a Corsair 650W PSU be enough to run this system

Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz O.C.'d to a little under 4GHz w/ aftermarket fan
SAPPHIRE 100312SR Radeon HD 6950 - flashed to a 6970
8GB (4 sticks) 1.5V RAM
a SSD
a 1TB HDD
a sound card
4 case fans

Is a 650W going to cut it or should I go for 700-750W? I do not plan on using crossfire in the future so this is all the power I will ever need

That's plenty of power.

Yep it's plenty. Go with a quality name brand unit from Corsair, Seasonic, PC Power and Cooling , Antec or XFX and you will be fine.

Edit: Ok I just read the subject line again and see you already chose Corsair. I should have just done a +1 for Pyroflea.

Sweet, the graphics card said it required a minimum of a 500W PSU but it doesn't make it clear whether or not that 500W is strictly for the graphics card or if it is taking the other components in the system into consideration as well.

It's for the whole system.

Sweet, it would be nice though if they explicitly listed how much power the card itself used. But you can't win em all. Thanks for your help. You saved me $50
