My pc shuts down when playing games on e7200

I am using an Intel E7200 along with the HD 5870.
my system unexpectedly shuts of without a warning. when i try to reboot it does not. i have to remove power supply to the CPU, wait for 15 sec and then start it.
this is my system spec
sea gate 320gb hdd
ATEK 600watt PSU
ATI HD 5870
E7200
ASROCK G31 motherboard
3 gigs of RAM
1 samsung DVD player

please help

Sounds like your Power Supply is on the way out. When the GPU demands more power the PSU fails and drops power instantly. Check the PSU first.

I googled "ATEK 600 watt PSU". It is a pretty bad, generic PSU.
