Approximate Purchase Date: Hopefully this week or so

Budget Range: Around $1500 give or take a few hundred, after rebates

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, surfing the internet

Parts Not Required: Keyboard, Mouse, Speakers

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: TigerDirect (for financing)

Country of Origin: U.S.A.

Parts Preferences: Mainly Intel - not as savvy on brands, so open to advice

Overclocking: No

SLI or Crossfire: No

Monitor Resolution: 1920x1200

Additional Comments: Pretty sold on using a solid state drive, as I have heard they are great - 80GB should be enough for me, I think, as I only usually have one game on at a time. Also plan on using Windows 7 64Bit.

OK, try these changes to your build...and you can use a SSD as an add on or skip it all together seeing how they don't really do much for you other than help you load your o/s and a proggy or two a few seconds faster.

Awesome! Thanks for the input.

And am I correct in thinking that I will not need an Ethernet or audio card - as those are on the motherboard? Also, do think I am fine without the PCI fan, or would you recommend it?

Thanks again!

The audio on these new boards are great, and ethernet that's included on the board...also great. And no to the pci fan. :)
