I am building my computer with the ASUS M4A79T Deluxe motherboard, i purchased 8GB corsair memory and checked the website to make sure its compatible with the motherboard, i am using an AMD phen II X4 965 proc and its compatible is well, i finished building the computer and when i started it up it beeped indicating no memory detected even though i had four sticks in the mobo, BIOS will also not start up, the power led is also red

in short: BIOS wont load
Memory not detected
Red power led

The BIOS is "loading" enough to tell you you have a memory error with the beep code .

You dont say if your memory is 2 x 4 or 4 x 2 gig
Try using only a single stick
[ edit : yes you do mention its 4 sticks . Try using TWO to start with ]

If that doesnt work try using another single stick
One may be faulty
