just looked over what power requirement i'll need and it's less than 600 watt so would the OCZ StealthXstream II 500W PC Power Supply be a good buy?

Don't buy a CM GX psu they suck.
I've never found a review for the OCZ StealthXstream II 500W but it should be similiar to the 600W version.
The OCZ Fatal1ty 550w Silent is a real bargain for a good quality 550W modular cable with plenty of them.

Good price for a reliable brand.
I have a 600W ModXStream Pro in one of my rigs and i'm very pleased with it after 1yr of use.
