PHP development in the UK

I am full time PHP, MySQL web developer specializing in e-commerce sites, currently residing in South-Africa and was wondering how big the market in the UK is for PHP developers?

I am planning to move to the UK permanently in roughly about 2 years from now and was wondering if I would be able to continue my career as a developer with my current qualifications and experience.

Your thoughts and input?

It's always best to look at job sites for those kinds of trends. Here in the states we have Dice.com which is also used by IT Buisness Edge and eWeek for reference ^_^. To me though looks like the demand for PHP developers is still decent, but there's enough of them that they are on the lower end of the pay scale. The big demand is for Andriod and iOS developers right now. Demand for Java programmers seems to be picking up across the board as well strangely enough.

Thanks for the advice! I studied Java at University but never pursued a career in it. Think it's time I get up to date with my Java again
