Acer monitor drivers windows 8

I have an acer g205hv monitor that I had hooked up to my HP computer along with another monitor for Dual Monitors. I recently updated my operating system to Windows 8. Now it will only recognize my hp monitor that came with my desktop. I tried to find drivers for Windows 8 for that Monitor and can not. Is this a problem that can be corrected?

did you install the driver for the graphic card?

no, but when I go to my devise manager there are no ?. SO I should look for my drivers for my graphic card and update?
