Does nVidia (and/or XFX) provide a utility for monitoring the temperature of the video card? I don't want to use third party apps.

I'm not finding anything on either. I don't think XFX has any proprietary software, and Nvidia has nTune, but that seems like it hasn't been updated since 2007.

Really, I know its third party, but Afterburner is pretty much the universal standard software for Nvidia temperature monitoring (and overclocking):

^+1 You didn't list what card you had ratsa, but I have used Afterburner with multiple Nvidia cards and it works well. The software was created by MSI, but plays nicely with most brands.

Actually, the third party apps gives you the accuracy more than the apps which came with the card itself...
Afterburner, GPU-Z or a simple HW Monitor are reliable apps for monitoring the temps. :)

The card I'm using is XFX GT 240 1GB DDR5. I don't mind a third-party app as long as it comes from a known source.
