Need Low watt graphics card

I have a HP Slimline s3620f. The onboard graphics card broke and I need to replace it with a low profile card. The PSU is only 160 watts so the card itself needs to be low wattage. I think HP says less than 25 watts. Please Help!

ATI 5450 is 19.1 watts TDP and can be low profile.

Uhh the 4350 is 20 watts TDP and should be cheaper. Nvidia doesn't seem to offer anything thats relatively new and low wattage. You could try just searching ATI 5450 or 4350 on ebay.

yeah I checked on ebay. Also the 5450 said it requires at least a 300 watt psu.

Aso what is TDP?

TDP = Thermal Design Power

The graphic card manufacturers will often overstate the power supply required to cover for lower quality ones. The 5450 is 19.1 watts which is pretty much as low as you get.

The 8400GS is 38 watts.

ATI X300, ATI X600

It can also take a PCI-e x 1

Mix of google and memory from reviews and threads that I've read in the past.

The 8400GS is actually 38 watts.

There isn't a lot of information on those older cards...

Yes its stated to be 19.1 watts as its max thermal power design.

No way to upgrade the psu? Then you would have more options.

I'm sure there is. I think up to 260w.

But it'd be a big waste of money.
