Asrock are usually the better deal or try Foxconn but i prefer Asrock in the cheap arena

Processors go for a AMD x 2 550 Athlon.. there cheap and run Windows 7 well with 2gb of ram - get a ddr3 motherboard as ddr3 is cheaper than ddr 2..

If it's just for kids and not for old kids playing 3D games, just about any computer will do.....

It's hard to build a scratch computer for less than the high volume manufactures like Dell, HP, or Gateway.....Just start pricing things out and you'll quickly see....unless you have a computer with most of the parts already and are just upgrading it a bit.

This would be fine : $350

I can't see being able to build a decent computer for any less than this combo. Nice find!
