i'm building a new gaming rig, will this PSU http://www.microcenter.com/single_product_results.phtml... power my dual GTX 480 cards on my crossfire motherboard? Also, will those cards bottleneck my celeron processor? Please give a full and detailed answer. many thanks.

Dude, you wanna troll post - put some effort into it. A good troll post should not be that obvious. Make it subtler, get the geeks hot and steaming and shouting over each other. I, for one, am disappointed.

for my GF's PC, her current PSU's fan is dead. it will powering a P4, 768mb RAM, and Nvidia 7300LE. the most intensive thing she does is post facebook pics... :sarcastic:

Saw the thread title , thought OK.
Saw thread starter, thought Oh Jeez.

That thing is overkill for what you're doing with it.

believe it or not, i found it to be decent. it has more heft to it then the CM extreme 460 and better efficiency (83% vs 70's). considering it replaced a 200w DELL PSU, I have no worries about it. they even "state" 31a on the 12v so I could probably stick an ATI 5750 in there if she ever want's to play animal farm...or crysis
