Approximate Purchase Date: Beginning of February
Budget Range: $1,000 - $1,200 Before Rebate
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, Video Recording, Rendering
Parts Not Required: Keyboard, Mouse, Monitor, 500 GB Hard Drive, 1 TB Caviar Black Hard Drive, Operating System
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg
Country of Origin: United States
Parts Preferences: Western Digital for Hard Drives, Nvidia for Graphics, and Sandy Bridge CPU
Overclocking: No
SLI or Crossfire: Maybe
Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080
Additional Comments: I don't care about noise, I always let my fans run max. I would like an additional Caviar Black for RAID 0 if possible for better performance recording with FRAPS. The motherboard should have an accessible PCI Express 1x slot for a capture card, and a PCI slot for a sound card. I have been trying to get a GTX 460 SLI build down, but it is quite hard with my budget, so I may just go for a single 500 series card.
