Hi guys, I am a new member of this forum.
I have my own PC but after two years of usage, I want to upgrade my rig. I am from India and my am a hardcore gamer, so I want a PC which can easily crush today's ground-braking games such as Metro 2033, Crysis 2, Bulletstorm and others.

Please assist me for construction a rig withing Rs 40000 - Rs 50000 or $800 - $1000.

Please note that I need only the processor, motherboard, graphics card, 6 - 8gb RAM and a CPU Case, Others are fine for me.

For CPU, I will prefer Quad-Core, having a very good price-performance ratio and very good clock speeds ( like i5 2500k / i7 2600k )

For graphics card, I want a card that is a good power house in terms of graphics processing and should support DX11 and kinda Future-proof.

Thanks Guys,
Dev.

no 1000$ computer is going to crush metro 2033.

a power house card is a gtx 580 that alone is 500$ USD other then that a gtx 570,ati 6950,6970 they all cost alot

2500k is 200$ 2600k is 300, a decent overclocking mobo is 200$

8gb of good ram 100-150$

What case do you have these are all big cards are they going to fit?

Ok I see.... So can you please suggest me a rig in my budget so that I get substantial performance for every component.
I mean that I don't want to incline at any of the component. I want to get every component at its best...

And I also want to ask is Nvidia GTX 560 Ti a good gaming card..... many of my frnds recommend me that....

The GTX 560Ti is a VERY good gaming card. I only have 3 games so far (BFBC2, Crysis, MOH) but I can run every one of them at max settings at 1920x1080. The lowest FPS I have seen so far is in the lower-20 range on Crysis, but thats rare. BFBC2 sticks around 55-60FPS. Those are both with VSYNC enabled (I get pretty bad screen-tearing without it)...

I posted a setup that you will be very happy with and it will overclock well also. Hitting 4.5ghz on a 2500k takes about 5 min. but you will need a after market cooler in order to do this.

This is all in usd money so prices on your side might vary.

the Radeon HD 6970 will be 37% faster than the GeForce GTX 560 Ti overall, because of its greater data rate

http://www.hwcompare.com/8887/geforce-gtx-560-ti-vs-radeon-hd-6970/

the gtx 560 ti and the 6970 are not on the same level the 6970 is on the gtx 580 level of cards to an extent. for example the 6970 get 7 more fps in bad company 2 over the gtx 560ti does this matter to you mabye not but the 560ti will outdate faster then the 6970.

That makes real sense, thnx dude, but I also want to ask another thing that can you provide me a good Nvidia High end card within Rs 15k - 16k or $300 - $320............ a card that in your view is like 6970.

And also I think the link to the ram is unavailable.... can you post it again ( working one ).
