580 PSU question

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

this is the PSU I have.

I hear that the GTX 580 needs a 40 amp rail to run correctly, however my power supply is rated at only 30 amp per rail.
I believe each 6/8 pin connector has its own rail however so with both connectors it should add up to 60 amps correct?

Or...

will I have to get a new power supply?

Your PSU is fine. That 40 amp recommendation is for the complete system.

You could run two 580's with that power supply.
