Hi people, here is the story.

I homebuilt my rig 2 years ago, it was worked perfectly for the most part. About a year ago I started getting these weird freezes about 10-15 mins after booting the computer up where the PC would just completely freeze. I had to reset the computer and then it would run fine.

Now, I return to my computer two days ago to find it on a black screen with like manufacturer information and options to enter setup or run windows normally. I went into setup and then exited to turn the computer off. I turn my computer on to find it doesn't boot up at all now !

What happens when I turn the power on:

All the fans work, the GFX card lights turn on, however I get no VGA signal to my monitor and it sounds like the CPU is doing nothing.

Here are my specs

Motherboard: ASUS M4A79T Deluxe AMD 790FX ( AM3 ) DDR3
CPU: Phenom II X4 955 BE
RAM: OCZ platinum enhanced bandwwidth edition 2x2gb ddr3 1600mhz dual channel

Please help I would love to know what to do next I just hope its not phoning warranty !

Borrow a PSU and try with that. Then a video card.
