So I have seen posts about ram and memory but couldn't find this exact question. I have this MOB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128502 and this ram http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820233146&Tpk=CMZ12GX3M3A1600C9
now I know I should have just got 2 or 4 and that is just me being a noob at this but I didn't want to send back the ram so I want to know if it will be ok if i use all three sticks and just not use dual channel or if i could run dual on 2 sticks and have the other in single?
Point of build is for gaming so i have 2 crossfire 6850s for that. Please let me know what you think. Thanks.

It will probably run two sticks in dual channel and one stick in single channel but I don't know for sure because I've heard some motherboards don't do that (my old one did, P4 with DDR2) so I can't guarantee it will do it like that or all in single channel or if that motherboard can run RAM in single channel like that. For this type of question you should refer to your motherboard's manual.
