Hi,

This is my first post so let me know if it's not clear enough.

I am planning on building a new system (for the first time in many years). I mainly use it for Gaming, Software Dev, Multimedia storage. I have read alot of reviews etc and have came up with what i think is a relatively good build for my needs. But i don't have much experience when it comes to hardware so i'd like your opinions / suggestions on what i need.

Any help / advise would be great!

Thanks

Motherboard (asus has never let me down)

RAM (i've read ALOT of good reviews about G.Skill but i'm not sure whether i should go for 4GB or 8GB and whether timings will be important for my needs. i'd like something that i wouldn't have to upgrade for a while)

yes sorry i am from the UK so cant actually use NewEgg to buy my parts. Was using it as my reference as it seems to be a commonly used site and has all the parts i wanted.

Thanks for your advise though the products you suggested seem really good. I don't do much RAM intensive Software Dev so 4GB should suffice. I am tempted by the Case and HDD you suggested but might stick with NVidia for Graphics Card.
