Hello, How do I reinstall the internet conection in Windows XP Prof.?

Hello, and welcome to Tom's. It's pretty uusual for the software that runs the connection to uninstall for no good reason but there are so many things that could make it appear so, we need a few more details as to what's going on in your system. Do you conect to a MODEM or a router and whichever, how do you connect - wired or wirelessly?

If there's a cable and you think it's connected properly, please go from your Start button to Run and type in cmd /k ipconfig /all including the spaces before both the / and after the k. A black form of white text will appear - please right click anywher to put that text here so posters can see what's going on.[/#000ff]
