use Coretemp (free download google it)
go to options
advanced options
check off distance to TJmax box
it will actually show you in degrees celcious how far you are to
thermal throttling
it reads the direct signal of DTS sensor
lower the number the hotter it is
at a 100% load it should not go lower than 20c -15c
this is easiest best way to monitor temps

it is a long explanation but temp monitoring is not exact
there is too many possible errors

with that said if that is your idle temp (computer just sitting there doing nothing)
than yes you have major problem

if that is a max load using Prime95 for example
and IF it is accurate then it is a little hot but not too bad
also depends on ambient room temperature
