I have a Dell tower that will not power up. I leave it on all the time and came in on it one time and it was turning on with all the fans then shutting right back off. No display on the monitor at all. replaced the P/S and am heading for the motherboard and processor next. Am I on the right trail? What is involved in the motherboard replacement. What about the bios? Will my hard drive still be intact? Don't wanna reinstall everything or mess anything up unnecessarily. All help and suggestions will be greatly appreciated. It's been a long time since I've done this.
