This is my setup currently..

i5-2500k @ OC 4.1 ghz
MSI P67A-GD55
8gigs (2x4gigs) of Ripjaw DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
PNY GTX 460
OCZ 550W fatal1ty PSU
top case fan @140mm rear and front fan @120mm

Some harddrives and optical drives all bundled in my:

Antec Dark Fleet DF-10 mid case it's very roomy lots of breathing room...

I want to get a CPU cooler for my processor and I am leaning towards the COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus from Newegg.com
Will this fit in my case? Is there a better cooler I should be looking at without going into water cooling? Any and all suggestions or personal tips on this matter I would love to hear it...please and ty

My idle core temps are: 33-37 idle and I have seen it at 65-69 at full load

Hyper-212: 158mm height
DF-10: 198mm width

I know of someone with the Hyper-212 in the DF-30, which is the same width as the DF-10, so it shouldn't be an issue. I know the cooler fits on your motherboard, but you may want to double check that the RAM won't clash - I think it may be 40mm tall, and the Hyper-212 has clearance of 38mm. I think the Hyper-212 can be adjusted a bit though. You don't have a side fan, which may clash with the Hyper-212, so I'd say you're good to go.

I'm actually getting a new PC (well, the bits) delivered today and I've gone for the Hyper-212. No first-hand knowledge of it's performance yet, but I researched the life out of everything and it's rated really well for cost/performance.

It will fit, with room to spare. If the RAM is an issue just turn it so its blowing the air out through your roof vent.
