This is my first time building a computer. I'm not completing sure whether the parts are compatible with each other or if i am missing anything.
Any recommendations or suggestions are welcome! My budget is $900+ this computer is meant for gaming, primarily WoW and SC2.
Monitor size is 1600 x 900. I am interested in building the computer as soon as possible. I plan on overclocking once im more familiar with the computer.

You might want to check this out http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/world-of-warcraft-c... it is tom's benchmarks of WOW cataclysm with different cpus and vid cards. Everything looks nice but for the price difference I would go with a ASUS EAH5850 DIRECTCU/2DIS/1GD5 Radeon HD 5850 (Cypress Pro) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card w/ Eyefinity http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... 209.99 (179.99 after MIR) which is pretty close to what you are going to pay for the 460. It has slightly better performance for only $10 more.
My suggestion, but at 1600x900, the GTX 460 is good enough, however if you want some more head room then go with my build The one that should fit your requirements is the 1000$ build. Uhhh you can make tweaks to be suited to your needs.
BTW, SC2 isn't exactly very graphically demanding it's mostly Cataclysm.
