Removing lower drive cage from CM 690 II Advanced?

Trying to remove the lower drive cage from my CM 690 II Advanced, but it seems to be permanently affixed to the bottom of the case with small bolts. Any tips on how it's done? The instructions don't have anything useful, and I'm afraid to pull on anything too hard in case I break it.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!

Open the hdd mount frount clips.
Pull the seperate hdd mounts out of the slots.
Then pull the cage forward from each side.

All the HDD mounts are out and I removed the side screws, but there are small bolts attaching the bottom of the drive cage to the bottom of the case. I must be missing something (since everything else on this case works pretty easily), but I don't see how to remove the bolts (they can't be unscrewed), and the cage won't budge. I do have the manual, but the pics on p. 13 don't show how to remove the bolts - just that the cage is supposed to slide out.

You'll have to pardon me for being daft. Turned over the case and removed the dust filter on the bottom, giving me access to the bottom screws. Everything popped out easily after that. Hopefully someone else will learn from my ignorance!

My HAF 922 has the same type of screws holding the HDD bays in place.Was thinking of getting a small flat head screwdriver and getting underneath the screw,they look like they just pop out if you pull on them.

by the way after you removed the hdd cages did you have better airflow
