GPU: XFX HD 5700
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate

I just uninstalled my 10.4 to update to 10.10 since I read somewhere that 10.10 improves/fix the Call of Duty:Black Ops multiplayer stutter/lag.

Here's what I did first:

1. Uninstalled 10.4 by using the catalyst installer and choosing unsinstall instead.
2. Rebooted
3. Ran driver sweeper, then rebooted again.
4. Installed 10.10
5. Rebooted.
6. Then I got an error saying that driver was not installed. (similar to what Ill post below)

I did steps 1-5 for 3 times but still got an error after the final reboot.

Finally I thought I'd try 10.11 so I uninstalled 10.10(where the driver was not installed, but the components I wanted to remove). I followed steps 1-3, but instead of 10.10 I installed 10.11. I still got the same error.

Here's the screen cap:

I installed some ATI updates(about two) when my Windows updated

I just did a manual installation. I found the solution on w7forums.

Choose update driver software. Browse my computer. Let me pick from a list. Have disk. Browse.

Now navigate to C:\ATI\Support\10-10_vista32_win7_32_dd_ccc_enu\Packages\Drivers\Display\W7_INF

and double click on CL106920.inf.

Hit ok then hit next and it will install.

For those who might have the same problem as mine, just choose the CLxxxxxx one (there are two, CL and CW).
