Custom build pc i5 problem?

ok i am am a 14 year old who has a keen passion for computer games and editing and have decided to make a custom build pc mainly because it will be cheaper because of the fact i can get windows 7 alot cheaper. i have around £500 to spend so have settled on a i5 so which one should i get. As i dont no the technical differences between them thanks.

The 2500K is my favorite choice for socket 1155. The ECS P67H2-A3 is significantly cheaper than the other p67 boards at $99.99 at newegg.com. IF funds are tight, check your favorite vender for this board. It doesn't support onboard graphics, but you probably don't need it anyway.

2500k is a fine CPU, probably one of the best on the market ATM.

However it depends on what the £500 would be for. For a bare system without OS/Monitor, you can actually build a decent system with a 2500K, but if not, a good GPU is more important for gaming.

I would suggest something like the Econobox build here. It doesn't include the monitor, keyboard, mouse, or operating system though.
