I'm looking for a reliable power supply, and have heard some sad stories about OCZ power supplies. Are their power supplies unreliable, or is the current NCIX price just too good to believe?

Alright. Im building it as I go. Heres the basic rundown

P5QL- VM DO Mobo (800mhz ram, 800, 1066,1333mhz processor)

Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 Quad Core Processor LGA775 2.66GHZ 1333FSB 4MB

2x 2Gig 800mhz DDR2 Dual Channel

320g Seagate Barracuda in SATA

And upconverting an IDE dvd-RW to SATA

Think the Pro will work out?

Yes it's more then enough power.
You don't mention a gpu but a 700W unit will power any single card anyways.
The ModXtreme's represent a good value price/performance wise.
The 80% modular cables makes a tidy case easier.
If the 700W is anything like the 600W model it's very efficient from 100-350w over 85%.
According to Hardware Secrets test of the 600W unit.

Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiit. Ordering now. Thanks for the help!!! =D

Also...if you've got the time, mind explaining why the Q8300 is 8 dollars more expensive then the Q8400?

Also how the 980X is more expensive than the 990X, 1st gen Core i5s more expensive than their Sandy bridge counterparts, Core 2s and 1366 Core i7s in general and such? Things like that just happen. :bounce:
