How can I tell if the BIOS on my PC or notebook enables the Intel VT-x or AMD-V capable processor in it?

In the BIOS there will be a setting for it (most likely in advanced settings), if it's enabled or disabled it'll show there.

If you try to run the software with it turned off, most software will alert the user that they will see an improvement of performance if they turn it on.
