Gts 250 fps problem

hi my nvidia gts 250 is not giving good fps means
it always gives 17-20fps(games like fifa 11,nfs hotpersuit) and im using latest 260.99 whql. my os in windows 7 ultimate
so how to get good fps in this card or it gives only this much?
i use very low settings in all my games

first of all what is your gaming resolution? did you experience this on other games as well?

A 250 is what, a 9800/8800GT? I would expect a LITTLE more then that, but it IS starting to get on...

It's an 8800GTS/9800GTX but I think the OP's problem is elsewhere.
