Hi, my home built PC has recently been experiencing POST problems and i really cant explain why. The hardware has been the same for the past 2 years and it was only messed with to blow the dust out. Basically it gets stuck prior to POSTing. The fans spin slowly, and nothing happens. (i also had an issue after it sat unpluged for a while where it got stuck and the fans just rocked back and forth) I turn it off, wait, turn it on, and after a few tries it POSTs then asks if i want to enter bios, I enter and no overclock settings have changed or anything it boots into windows and runs perfectly stable. Its odd because it hasn't been messed with Its a pretty old machine, are the components just getting worn out?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

The specs:

Asus P5q Pro (FSB at 400 333 stock)
Intel C2D E6550 @ 2.4 (2.33 Stock)
2gb DDR2 corsair memory
OCZ PSU
ATI 4850
1 HD
Antec P180

Solution
Could simply be the PSU is now marginal/about to go....;not having the power to even turn fans is not a good sign.....
